Rich is the President and founder of RSS Insurance Agency. Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, he attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where he received his BA degree in History and Education. He returned to the Hudson Valley to teach secondary history, coach boys basketball, and eventually he left the teaching profession to enter the business world. He has since been involved in many aspects of the insurance and employee benefits industry.
After working many years locally for a large insurance company, it was decided that he and a few loyal coworkers would venture on their own to form RSS. Together, their hard work and dedication has helped grow RSS to where it is today.
Rich and his wife Donna are dedicated to the community in which they have raised their daughters, Laura and Mary Kate. Kingston is their home and a place where they call many their friends. Rich has a passion for writing and enjoys spending time on the golf course.
Kimberly has been in the insurance business for 23 years. She started her career managing the claims department for a large health insurance carrier, but soon transitioned to working for employers to provide them with the best choices for their employee benefits.
Kimberly holds a New York State Life & Health License and a New York State Property & Casualty License. She is a Certified Wellness Program Manager (CWPM) and has her Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation.
Kimberly and her husband Jason raised their two children, Kristopher and Brandy, in Shokan. She is the Lolli to two beautiful grandbabies, Zayne and Karissa. Kimberly lives with her husband Jason and their beagles, Oliver and Stanley. Kimberly enjoys kickboxing, reading, and puppy piling with her "boys".
John is the Vice President of Business Development here at RSS. He joined the team in 2014 as an Account Executive after owning Kingston’s charter yacht, The Teal, for many years. He graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor in Marketing and has since used his education, past experiences and community involvement to grow in his role.
John and his wife Melissa are excited to welcome their first child in June, to their home in Kingston. Their son will join two other boys in the family, their dogs, Zeke and Dexter. John currently serves on the board of People’s Place in Kingston, can be found spending time with friends and family, and participating in golf tournaments as a two-time Ulster County Golf Champion of The Herdegen.
Gina is the Office manager and Employee Benefits Assistant at RSS Insurance Agency. After working in retail since she was 18 and taking a few years off to be a stay at home mom, she was given the opportunity to change course and try her hand at the insurance field.
Gina grew up in New Brunswick, Canada. She met her husband Michael in 2000 and they married in 2002 after she obtained her Permanent Residency. If she’s not working, you can find Gina playing taxi driver to her sons, Isaac and Reid, reading a good book or out with friends. She lives in Kingston with her family and their cockapoo Molly.
Tina Roberto is our Personal Lines Manager and has over a decade of experience in the industry. She holds a New York State Property and Casualty License and helps our clients identify new insurance policies that best suit their needs. To keep up with today's ever-changing world, Tina continually attends training and classes to ensure she can guide you in the right direction for proper coverage.
Tina enjoys watching her grand-puppies, camping with friends in Lake George and when winter hits, Netflix bingeing begins!
Joyce is our Vice President of Employee Benefits, specializing in medical, dental, vision, and Medicare group and individual insurance. Joyce has over 32 years of expertise in the insurance industry and her focus has been on employee benefits. She is highly regarded by her clients and insurance carriers.
Joyce is a life-long resident of Ulster County where she’s raised two amazing sons, Chris and Tony. She enjoys being with friends going out to dinner, dancing or meeting up at business events. Outside of work she can be found spending time with her two dogs, Talia and Gianna, and outdoors trying her hand at golf or riding her bike.
Alexcis is a business graduate of Ulster County Community College, and knew she had a passion for a career in insurance since her teens.
Alexcis is our Commercial Lines Manager and continues to build her experience to better serve our clients. She holds New York State licenses in Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health, and has her Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation.
Lexi enjoys spending her free time working out and in cycling classes, hanging out with her dog Brownie and cat Delilah, and being with her family.
Shana migrated to Saugerties from her hometown of Oneonta where she began her career working in a hospital billing office. After settling into the area, she worked in the claims department at United Healthcare.
One thing led to another and Shana came on board at RSS as a Personal Lines Administrative Assistant. She plays a vital role maintaining important communications with our clients and providing support to our personal lines team.
Shana has a passion for kickboxing and writing, she enjoys curry food and her favorite animals are goats!
Miranda has worn many hats over the years, including owning a popular local pizzeria and wing spot, managing several departments in a health center and owning an international women's fitness franchise. She is excited to now be the Vice President of Marketing for RSS where she has bundled experiences from her past roles to help spotlight RSS in our community and reach out to potential clients.
Miranda is helping shift the typical impression most have of insurance, and making sure everyone knows it's not something to avoid, and certainly not as daunting a task as most historically believe it to be!
Miranda is a foodie at heart and loves to share her passion with everyone around her. Outside of work you can find her spending time with her husband Elkin and daughter Sophia, concocting something tasty in the kitchen and volunteering with the Junior League of Kingston.
