Rich is the President and founder of RSS Insurance Agency. Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, he attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where he received his BA degree in History and Education. He returned to the Hudson Valley to teach secondary history, coach boys basketball, and eventually he left the teaching profession to enter the business world. He has since been involved in many aspects of the insurance and employee benefits industry.
After working many years locally for a large insurance company, it was decided that he would venture on his own to form RSS. With hard work and dedication, RSS has grown to where it is today, and continues to work hard to provide quality service for all clients.
Rich and his wife Donna are dedicated to the community in which they have raised their daughters, Laura and Mary Kate. Kingston is their home and a place where they call many their friends. Rich has a passion for writing and enjoys spending time on the golf course.
John is the Senior Account Executive here at RSS. He joined the team in 2014 after owning Kingston’s charter yacht, The Teal, for many years. He graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor in Marketing and has since used his education, past experiences and community involvement to grow in his role.
John and his wife Melissa live in Kingston with their son Cooper, and two other boys in the family, their dogs, Zeke and Dexter. John currently serves on the board of People’s Place in Kingston, can be found spending time with friends and family, and participating in golf tournaments as a two-time Ulster County Golf Champion of The Herdegen.
Gina is the Office manager and Employee Benefits Assistant at RSS Insurance Agency. After working in retail since she was 18 and taking a few years off to be a stay at home mom, she was given the opportunity to change course and try her hand at the insurance field.
Gina grew up in New Brunswick, Canada. She met her husband Michael in 2000 and they married in 2002 after she obtained her Permanent Residency. If she’s not working, you can find Gina playing taxi driver to her sons, Isaac and Reid, reading a good book or out with friends. She lives in Kingston with her family and their cockapoo Molly.
Tina is our Personal Lines Manager and has over a decade of experience in the industry. She holds a New York State Property and Casualty License and helps our clients identify new insurance policies that best suit their needs. To keep up with today's ever-changing world, Tina continually attends training and classes to ensure she can guide you in the right direction for proper coverage.
Tina enjoys watching her grand-puppies, camping with friends in Lake George and when winter hits, Netflix bingeing begins!
Joyce is our Vice President of Employee Benefits, specializing in medical, dental, vision, and Medicare group and individual insurance. Joyce has over 32 years of expertise in the insurance industry and her focus has been on employee benefits. She is highly regarded by her clients and insurance carriers.
Joyce is a life-long resident of Ulster County where she’s raised two amazing sons, Chris and Tony. She enjoys being with friends going out to dinner, dancing or meeting up at business events. Outside of work she can be found spending time with her two dogs, Talia and Gianna, and outdoors trying her hand at golf or riding her bike.
